Dogwood Branch by Lowell Nesbitt
Serigraph 1980 SOLD
Size: 51"x37" Framed
Pencil Signed
Edition: 18/200
Estimated Price: $1100
My Price: $800
The long awaited photographing of the Dogwood Branch. This piece was stacked behind several oversized works with wide wooden frames and I couldn't without the help of my daughter lift it out to be photographed. I still have an oversized Nesbitt in a tube to photograph and I still don't have the surface large enough needed to do the job. The Nesbitt saga continues.

Floating Abstract
Oil Painting
Size: 40"x48"
I had to post this painting because it hasn't been given attention for a very long time. It is one of several that were on consignment to the gallery. I've lost touch
with the consignor and I'm hoping for a reunion. The artist is Peter Ficher.

Mauve ,Grey and Black Abstract
Acrylic Painting
Size: 36"x48"
Estimated price: $550
My price: $375
There is no need for a frame if you use a double stretcher bar, wrap the canvas
and staple it around the back. That's what I did. This works great on abstracts.
My seasoned clients know this but for the benefit of my inexperienced buyers who I am having the pleasure of working with more and more every day, this is for you.

Mayr's colors are bold and vibrant as can be seen by the monoprint posted here.

Lavendar Horizon by Richard L Casey
American Artist
Born: 1938
Silkscreen
Size: 38"x47.50"
Edition: 44/125
Richard Casey explored a multitude of media and printmaking techniques and sought his unique statement as is shown in Lavender Horizon. His large canvases were painted in the abstract expressionism style of which I had the pleasure of selling.

Blue Iris by Lowell Nesbitt
Serigraph
Size: 38"x42"
Pencil Signed
Edition:I/III - 59/100
Price: $600
Nesbitt created over 400 works using the flower theme and attained an enviable international reputation as an artist with a very personal style, skill, and viewpoint in a most contemporary manner.
I keep picturing this piece on a wall next to Richard L Casey's Lavendar Horizon.
Just visualize the two and I'll bet you agree.

Patrice Breteau at Work
The extremes Patrice Breteau goes through to create his work is astronomical because his art is astronomical and made possible through the use of a hydraulic lift. There isn't a size too large for him to tackle as seen here in the photo.
You can search my blog for some of his serigraphs: Patrice Breteau I, Patrice Breteau II, up to V. I've posted two posters one of which is signed.

Balloon Festival 1988 by German Huerta
Oil Painting
Size: 50"x50"
The artist really didn't want to part with this painting but he had no choice because it wouldn't fit into his car as he was "moving on" from Fairview , N.J. I always felt gifted by owning the artwork but "moving on" is the new theme song around here.
Did you ever watch hot air balloons from the windows of your home or go out to the
patio and wave back to the brave souls riding them? I have, from the Atlas residence in Goshen, N.Y. The art work conjures up nice memories.

Patrice Breteau - Group Show
This is a detail of the Group Show which featured the art of Patrice Breteau. (The Tulips are by Steven Kenny). It was a fabulous show! You can search around the blog for some of the graphic work of the artist: Patrice Breteau 1,11,111,1V,&V. I don't have any oils, the ones I had were sold at the show. They've now out priced themselves from the gallery.
You can visit Patrice on the web. Let me know if you do, his work is amazing.

Don Quixote by Salvatore Dali
Original Etching
Size: 22"x15"
Image: 18.50"X13"
Pencil Signed E.A.
This is a first for me, suggesting to the world the way I'd most likely have the Dali framed. The selections for framing the Dali are numerous. To me, the most creative
part of my work is designing the framing. Forgive my immodesty, I'm good. I take your hand and step by step walk you through the process of decision making.

Patrice Breteau I

Paris, France
Original serigraph enriched with hand color by the artist
Size: 29"x30"
Image: 25"x25"
Breteau was a major exhibitor in a group show held at the S.Morantz Galleries in 1982. It was a successful show. I appreciate, still now, the working relationship I had with Breteau as he loved dinner parties where he did the cooking. It was nice mixing business with pleasure.
Breteau has a web site, visit him and enjoy the view. I welcome your comments.

Strolling a Street in Paris by Renet
Oil Painting SOLD
12"x16" unframed
I haven't met a client who didn't like a Paris street scene. The piece pictured here is like a little jewel radiating its own light. There isn't any information on the artist and I can only assume that he desires visibility by offering his works
at an extremely low price making it possible for everyone to own one. Dali is famous for having done the same thing.
I am offering this work for $105. Merci (Fr).
